Grilled Crab- Cajun Style
Ingredients:
Fresh Crabs: 1 dozen
Butter: 2 bars
Salt, Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, and Garlic Powder – About 4 teaspoons seasoning mix per 2 sticks of Butter. (I use Slap Ya Mama Cajun Seasoning)
Remove the top shell and clean the inside of the crab, including removing gills. Prepare melted butter with generous amount of seasoning. . (We use Slap Ya Mama Cajun Seasoning) Place crabs on pit with cleaned opening on top. Baste crab cavity and claws with seasoned melted butter. Grill for approximately 7 minutes. (Time varies with pit’s temperature. No need to flip crabs but baste often. The color of the crab shell and legs should red similar to how boiled crabs turn red.
